I have a friend (Billy Lonas, email: billyclonas@yahoo.com) who doesn’t like to “toot his own horn” but he is a really good “old school” country & western song writer. Sooooo, I am tooting his horn for him, lol. This song, which I helped him record in a good studio with professional musicians, is powerful, and especially timely and meaningful, with the current social/political clime in our country.

What does the name ‘No Serial Killer’ signify? 

It refers to the fact that as a 46 year old, I am happy to have not turned into a serial killer. By 2019 standards, I’m doing pretty well. If any of our listeners is a serial killer, you’re not welcome to be one of our fans. We only want ‘no serial killers’ to like ‘No Serial Killer’. Killing people due to one’s own inadequacies we find deeply offensive. Don’t hurt others is the message. 

What does ‘Bass Piano’ mean?

Performing is something that  I enjoy doing and making music with a purpose. If I can put a smile on someone’s face through song, well that just means the world to me. I like to write some of my own music and also perform others. I try to get to the real heart and soul of a song. To me, it's not just words but a story and I do my best to portray that with every line. That’s my main draw to country music; the stories, the people, and the sincerity that comes from the heart.

Seven and Counting is a new, nine-piece band with a several tracks recorded so far. 
Our sound is a kind of a mixture of styles and influences each and every one of us picked up "along the road", from rock to country and blues and whatever falls between so it's hard for us to select one single genre to match our style. 
We are currently working on new and original songs for our first record.
