I am a media content developer and broadcaster, very concerned about my country and the planet, particularly in the area of human and citizen rights, distribution of wealth, the environment and safety, including the protection from endless war. To this end, I am in the process of creating an organization called the Coalition for Planetary Empowerment. My new radio show, to be first broadcast on BBS Radio on April 14 at 9 AM PST is called Inalienable and Free- Voice of the Coalition and will be hosted by myself and Hugo Rodier, MD. In this program, we look at political events from a core spiritual point of view, not from the standpoint of any one religion or group. We believe that the ideals of the Founding Fathers, as expressed in the US Declaration and Constitution reflect this point of view in the famous phrase that speaks of all men being created equal and endowed with certain inalienable right. We also believe that although this ideal is not reflected well in American history, things have progressed positively in many ways until fairly recently. Now many of our rights, including most contained in the bill of rights and the rights we have to health, prosperity and safety, including safety from unnecessary war has been challenged. These rights contain not only an understanding of what is proper government but keys to the manifestation of our true desires on a much higher level and that those citizens who understand their true spiritual capacity can help mankind push forward to reclaim its rightful inheritance from the Creator.

Douglas Richie D.P.M. received his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco in 1980.He completed a residency in foot and ankle surgery at Western Medical Center in Orange County.

Dr. Richie is certified in foot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

Currently, Dr. Richie is an Associate Clinical Professor of Biomechanics at the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt College. He also is a Clinical Associate Professor of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery, Western University of Health Sciences. Dr. Richie served as Section Editor (Sports Medicine) of the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery for eight years and is a Past President of the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine.

Dr. Richie is a two time winner of the American Podiatric Medical Association Research Award. He owns 5 U.S. Patents on footwear and brace designs.

Dr. Richie’s research interests have focused on injury prevention and orthotic intervention in athletic patients. His recent publications have focused on the pathomechanics of the adult acquired flatfoot deformity.

YOICHI UTEBI

Yoichi Utebi, Happy Science Head Minister, Producer and Vice President of HS Productions

Born in Japan in 1968, Yoichi Utebi grew up in Beirut, Lebanon and New York City. Raised in a rare Japanese Christian family, he was deeply touched by Muslim culture and the beauty of Lebanon during his formative years in Beirut. However, the Middle East also exposed Utebi to the horrors of war, as he and his family dodged bullets and bombings before fleeing to New York, leaving everything behind in a sudden evacuation.  The next 10 years in New York exposed Utebi to friends from multiple cultures and ethnicities. His rock band produced a popular album and gained quite a following in the city before Utebi decided to forego his musical pursuits and return to Japan.

After 12 years of experience in marketing and senior management at various American IT companies in Japan, Utebi joined Happy Science in 2010, where he quickly rose to Director of International Communications. In 2015, he was appointed Head Minister of Hawaii, and in 2018 he led the temples in Okinawa. Utebi is currently leading Happy Science’s International Media Division and is the Vice President of HS Productions and producer of “Immortal Hero.”
