Ken, her husband and Barby provide motivation, inspiration and energy penny saving tips for better daily living. As an Extreme Time Cheater, Barby lives life to the fullest despite living in chronic pain. Sharing her story has helped change the lives of thousands of other pain patients around the world.

Prior to an auto accident causing chronic pain and subsequent surgeries, I was a business owner, event coordinator and head coach at Washington State University for the spirit program. I have been speaking at charity events, awards ceremonies, special groups and all kinds of public venues as part of my job as a Collegiate Head Coach, beauty pageant queen, business owner since 1989.

I graduated from George Mason Univ in 1994 w a degree in Social Psychology, and began using skills from cheerleading to inspire and motivate others to be their best self. I am a patient to helps other patients to be self-advocates and offer tips and tools for patients, caretakers and healthcare professionals.

I have also served as a national speaker, author of the Cheertec Coaches'​ Handbook; six part DVD Series on cheerleading, From Wheels to Heals, RSD in Me!, ReMission Possible, The Pain Code, Real Love, & Aunt Barby's Invisible, Endless Owie & more.
