When asked, "who is your audience?"sometimes my response is, "our work is for people who take themselves too seriously or who don't take themselves seriously enough."
"Which category do you fall into?"
So, this week's featured "phrase" is "Seriously" or "Seriously??"
Seriously though, as a child my teachers would describe me as a very serious boy. Maybe that's why I began leaning into the humorous side of life.
"Seriously?" you may be surprised.
Indeed there are serious issues that we must deal with, but ideally we don't take ourselves too seriously.
Please join us tonight for a serious look at why we needn't take life so seriously.
Indeed, what I've discovered is:
"If we really knew, we'd be laughing."
Tonight's program will include humor, music and our "delightened" characters who walk a fine line between the serious and the ridiculous.
