A program about Hanukkah and being the light.

If you're looking for new and improved direction for your life, check out this program.

Since tonight is the first night of Hanukkah, which in Jewish tradition is a celebration of the miracle of lights, we've picked "That's Enlightening" as our featured phrase of the week.

(FYI, the legal name of our non-profit company is "Enlighten, Inc."(DBA "The Laughing Heart. org check it out at thelaughingheart.org)

While the Hanukkah story may be a legend, open to different interpretations, its symbolic value is pertinent. As is blatantly obvious to anyone who's trying to find the light in these troubled times, it's not easy.....  unless we can find a way to cast the light ourselves.  But the good news is that the light can come  from us, and as many might agree, in order to preserve our freedom, like the Maccabees of the Hanukkah story, we need to become more enlightened. That's Enlightening, eh?

I'd like to think that, like the historical period of the "Enlightenment,"* reason can more and more guide our thoughts and behavior.*(European politics, philosophy, science and communications were radically reoriented during the course of the “long 18th century” (1685-1815) as part of a movement referred to by its participants as the Age of Reason, or simply the Enlightenment.)

On tonight's program, we will take a look at how we can become more reasonable and spiritually enlightened. Please, join us for this conversation sprinkled with humor, insight, music and surprises...and of course, our "de'lightened" characters."

Until Tonight.
