My guest is Susan Mokelke, Executive Director of the Foundation for Shamanic Studies, Editor of Shamanism Annual, the journal of the Foundation, and teacher of such advanced programs as the Three Year Intensive which involves extended training in progressively higher levels of very advanced shamanism, and initiations into rare and little known practices.

MICHAEL DUNNING is known as the Yew Shaman. He was born in Glasgow, Scotland, had a series of encounters with Elemental Spirits and near death experiences which led to visions, out of body and altered states of consciousness, as well as intense physical pain. His health was completely destroyed, but an encounter and long nine year apprenticeship with an ancient Yew Tree healed him, and taught and initiated him into the way of a Shaman. He now resides in the United States where he practices Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy and teaches the wisdom of the Yew Tree.
