Pililokal (Pili), which literally means “choose local”. Rizza has been working in the events and marketing industry since she launched her first start-up in 2017. After completing an MBA in New York during the height of the pandemic, Rizza created a one-stop-shop of exclusively Filipino products in the spirit of not just uplifting the lives of local makers but also helping them promote their work online.
Pililokal is comprehensive e-commerce platform for the Filipino market and eventually the global market. Rizza formed the company through personal connections with people who would eventually be handling the different departments needed for the development of the website. Rizza also reached out to family and friends to help her launch this project. A team of Filipino individuals is driving this company from the funding stage to the nitty-gritty details. Their dream was made possible by a group of people working together overseas and locally with a common objective
