RENE YRIGOLLEN, is my guest this week. She is of Native American, Basque, Belgian, and Mexican descent, but chose to walk the Traditional Red Road of the Native American ways. She is a Pipe Carrier, a Sundancer, and an artist whose works can be seen in Santa Fe, NM galleries. She is sharing some of the little known traditions regarding family structure in a Matriarchal way of life, the roles women play in the tribe, and the rites of passage for women beginning with the celebration for young girls who have begun their moon time, and on throughout life to the time when they are initiated into the Grandmother Lodge. There is an awareness of the sacredness of woman, and her great gift from the Creator of being able to create new life within her own body, and bring forth future generations to people the earth. Rene shares a little about the importance of ceremony, about sacrifice, crying for a vision, and praying with the intent that the people may live. The people refers to all life forms ,the human people, the tree people, the animal people, the stone people, the two leggeds, the four leggeds, the no leggeds and the winged ones. It is a truly refreshing perspective on how to live in a good way, and walk with honor on the sacred Mother Earth.
Shaman's Keep offers a glimpse into the mysterious world of the Shaman. What do they really do and how do they do it? What are Power Animals? Why do people need Soul Retrievals? And what in the world is a Psychopomp? Each week Caroline will discuss some of these topics and interview famous people in the world of Shamanism. You'll hear exciting stories about journeys out of body and into the Spirit Worlds, and amazing healings of body, mind, and spirit.
Shamanism is the oldest belief system in the world dating back more than 40,000 years, and it is just as viable today as it was in ancient times.
Tune in to learn about the compassionate Spirit Beings who want to help us, and who can bring about positive changes in our lives by removing obstacles, and healing karmic patterns and trauma.
