Dan served for 30 years with the La Mesa Police Department in CA in part as a crimes of violence - child molest - homicide detective. Dan was also a SWAT Commander, and Wellness Unit and Peer Support Coordinator. He's a graduate of the FBI National Academy where he studied emotional survival, wellness, and resiliency. Dan’s an instructor for the National Command College, the International Academy of Public Safety and has taught to over 7,000 peace officers in 35 states and Canada.
