Common Christian Deceptions
Summary

What you sow, IS what you reap!

Body *

Galatians 6:7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.  8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.  9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.....and this becomes the deception. We become tired/weary, and we no longer have patience for the things that God has already promised us, therefore, we begin to doubt, lose faith, become distracted from our focus, and compromise. Our flesh, or our natural man, begins to cause us to sacrifice our true destiny, and the hope of His calling, based on our natural desire for immediate gratification....especially when we spend too much time, with other individuals, who also, have not denied the desires of their flesh either. This could be anything from sex outside of marriage, gluttony, or the refusal to fast and pray. But don't lose hope! Since whatever you sow, IS what you reap, it is vital that you sow spiritual things! Sow love! Sow peace! Sow good eating habits! Invest your time and energy into your spirit, soul, and body, rather than deceiving others, and allowing others to deceive you! When you do the right things, when it is your season, you will reap the benefits!

Be blessed!
