DREAM MARCH on WASHINGTON FOR DC STATEHOOD, GREEN EARTH & JUSTICE - On the 58th Anniversary of the March on Washington!  More than 200,000 demonstrators took part in the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom in our nation’s capital on August 28, 1963. The march was successful in pressuring the administration of President John F. Kennedy to initiate a strong federal civil rights bill in Congress. During this event, the Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr. delivered his historic “I Have a Dream” speech. This August 28th offers us a unique opportunity to demonstrate our support for DC Statehood, Green Earth and Justice. Please join Maria and me on air to discuss the plans for this upcoming event with former U.S. Representative Charles J. Moreland, Chase Iron Eyes and Joel Segal.
