This week, I'm talking in-depth about the dynamics you create by your mindset and emotional climate in your relationship with yourself, and with others. Good to listen to get more clarity right now.
My guest, Laura Rubinstein and I will be discussing the joys and pitfalls of compassion. Yes, there are pitfalls! Don't miss this.

Dr Rhoberta Shaler takes us on a journey to help us give our focus to what really serves us. She references to her book in this episode about how what we focus on expands. It is like making the choice to see the glass as half full or half empty. Both are real and exist at the same time. The question is, what are we focusing on? That sets the mood for us to be angry and frustrated or positive and grateful.

Laura Rubinstein teaches us to be kind to us similar to how kind we'll be to a child learning to walk. It is very important, for, what we are to ourselves is what we are to others. If we can't feel good about our own selves, how and why would we feel good about others?

It is a powerful message that inspires us to take a look at our perspective of events and circumstances. I mention in my book that we have to be smart gatekeepers. We should let only those thoughts that uplift us, and close the gate for other negative thoughts that could pull us down. Thanks Dr Rhoberta Shaler and Laura!
