New York City's, Glenn Kidd has spent the last two decades recording, and performing with a variety of artists and bands such as: Masquerade, The Hedgehogs, David Kelly & James Chapple of Triptaka, Darrell Nutt, Mike Rogers & Heather Brooks.
In 2003, Glenn released his debut solo effort "Aura Of Grace", that features Jenna Ferone & Skip "Moxx" Frederiksen from the trip-hop band "Beauty's Confusion" as guest musicians.
In 2005, Glenn's sophomoric epic "Satori" was released. "Satori" (Which means the path to enlightenment) is a true masterpiece of alternative brit-pop rock, and dramatic spiritual music filled with heavenly riffs that are melodious and memorable.
Produced by Danny Shepard who has worked with Elliott Randall of Steely Dan & Cliff Williams of AC/DC, "Satori", is one of those records that people explore their own milieu being each song creates a mood that is conscious oriented. Whether you relate to it for the shear musical artistic value, or for the spiritual messages, Glenn's songs will transcend you to think outside the box.
As of the Summer 2008, Glenn is working on a new project with vocalist Josette Davids, drummer Michael Fox, saxaphonist Barry Titone, and bassist Michael Lynch. Live performances dates are to be announced soon.
A live nine song Glenn Kidd CD with bonus unplugged tracks will be released in late 2008.
