June 16, 2009:  Dr. Valerie's book reading, continued...to the end.

continued reading from the eBook: Choose Your Doctor As if Your Life Depends On It (it does).

This is a book that talks about intuition and common sense, and shows you what to ask in order to be sure you are getting the healthcare you want. Doctors may hate this, but patients will love it! Since too many people have no common sense when it comes to talking with their doctors, it is time for them to take charge of themselves and do what they need to do, in a responsible, logical manner.

The book includes anecdotal stories to illustrate the importance of being responsible and making the right decisions. Reader's comments have been along the lines of "well, it's just common sense".  Yeah...duh...too bad so many people don't have any!

It's a short book, an easy read, and contains the parts you need to know to protect yourself when you need healthcare...
