Ok, as I have always said to people that start a sentence
with describing a persons skin color first is 'What does it
mean?'
Anyone could have done it. What does starting out the
conversation stating the persons skin tone matter to the
circumstances that is about to be told. Nothing! For we are
all capable of everything. I love Morgan Freeman AND his
views on Black History month to boot. He was so r i g h t .
Is there a Jewish history month? Now (my words) Is there a
white history month, yellow history month, mexican history
month. I mean do you get it? Morgan Freeman was simply
letting us all know how precious we ALL are and that race
should never come into the equation unless, one is called on
to give a description. We are all human and equal
opportunity for all. Example: A friend was about to tell me
something she encountered at a store the first thing she
mentioned was the person's color and in the end that didn't
have anything to do with what she was talking about. It
didn't make sense. But its a learned behavior that we can
perhaps all start taking a closer look at. :)
