March 20 - This day’s pontifical quack-quack! quote, provided by heated gas-breath George ‘the conqueror’ Bush, as plastered throughout the media: per CNN: http://www.cnn.com/2006/POLITICS/03/20/bush.iraq/index.html "The savagery of the terrorists and insurgents who controlled Tal Afar is really hard for Americans to imagine," Bush said. "They enforced their rule through fear and intimidation, and women and children were not spared." Obviously meant to horrify us and justify his “cause.” But - the last sentence of this article is: “As of Monday, 2,316 U.S. troops have died in Iraq. Estimates of Iraqi dead range from about 30,000 to more than 100,000.” THEREFORE, an equally accurate rendition of Mr. “Hedge”-the-Truth’s cunning verbal propaganda can be read as follows: ‘The savagery of your US military in gaining control of Tal Afar (and Iraqi oil reserves) is really hard for all you hoodwinked Americans to imagine. We forced our dominion in Iraq through pre-emptive attack without just cause, fear, intimidation, physical and psychological torture, depleted uranium weaponry, flesh-burning chemicals, and mass death. Women and children were not spared, and I couldn’t give a damn either.’
