Subject: Cheney's twisting language

"On this, both Republicans and Democrats should be able to agree: The only way the terrorists could win is if we lose our nerve and abandon our mission," Cheney said . . ." - CNN Tues. 12-6-05 Wrong. The relationship between the presence of terrorists in the world - no matter where they are or what their deluded cause - and the eventual and dubious outcome of the war in Iraq, doesn’t exist. It never did. This time, we are the ruthless, contemptible invaders, and the only way we can lose as a nation “is if we lose our nerve and abandon” a focused and forceful effort, as a fundamentally decent people, to put a stop to this illegal, wrong, hate-fostering and terrorist-fermenting war. It’s got little to do with terrorism and everything to do with control of Iraqi oil - the taboo topic, never in the mainstream media. Bush, Cheney, and their renegade gang of canon-firing buccaneers know this only too well. That's the real motive - the juicy, golden carrot - and it’s also the reason our arrogant “leaders” aren’t going to budge - no matter what they say. Their words are nothing but manipulative fluff. Always. Their souls are dark. If you don’t believe me, look carefully at the creepy, menacing facial expressions they reveal in many of their photographs. Look into their eyes.
