I would say not to expect anything more out of the ordinary compared to last year (unless conditions change alot more before then) as strange behaviour coming from plants and animals were reported last winter aswell.

I remember reports of bears not hibernating in Russia, plants flowering long before spring, Arctic ice coverage being noticably lower and other signs but as far as I'm aware these signs haven't increased noticeably this year although there have been reports of them being repeated this year.

(Of course the signs MAY have increased but reports of them haven't in my experience)
