Experiencing Problems?
If you are experiencing problems opening up and listening to the audio archives on the BBS Network, it could be due to your using Windows XP and MS Internet Explorer as a browser. As we use a SAM4 codec of 32K 16,000hz Joint Stereo MP3 Format, Some Browser versions do not understand the audio codec being used. Therefore, when trying to open up the archives with their browser you may get a 404 Error Page, or it just won't download/open.

The FIX!
Try LOGGING IN at:
https://www.bbsradio.com/bbsradio/member.php
Once you're logged in, you will see a link back to the archives. Go back to the archives and RIGHT CLICK on the mp3 link. Then "Save Target As". You can only do this with IE Explorer. Once the audio file has been downloaded onto your computer, double click the mp3 file and it should play normally, as it will engage your default audio player.

If you are using Mozilla Firefox and wish to download the audio files, you must be logged in. Upon being logged in, go back to the archives and right click on the mp3 link, and then "Save Link As". This method only works for Firefox.

Using an Apple or Mac Computer? Are the audio files playing too fast? Try downloading QuickTime media player. That should solve your problem. It is PC/MAC compatible. When you click on download mp3, once the program is installed, it will open up the audio file in a separate window and start playing the mp3 automatically (Quicktime must be either defaulted to play mp3's or have the preferences set to play mp3 files. When you install the program, it should default to play mp3's.)
