Galexis
The
Story of Galexis from Ginger, The Channel for Galexis
In
the early 1980s, Daniel (my husband) and I consulted regularly with
spirit through two channels. We spoke with various spirit guides and
entities—most notably Lazaris. The feedback was very helpful for our
spiritual processes. Unfortunately, one channel moved away and Lazaris
sessions were increasingly in demand, so it became more difficult
to get a reading or consultation. This left an information gap in
our lives, and we recognized that we had become dependent on outside
assistance. In an effort to be more metaphysically self-sufficient,
we decided to seek simple intuitive information with one another.
One of us would lie down, relax, and tune into spirit helpers known
as “Counselors” while the other asked questions that required a "yes"
or "no" answer.
It was
up to the one tuned into spirit to determine which answer the Counselors
were giving.
Although
both of us could get "yes" and "no" answers, a
tediously slow way to do kinesiology!, I found it easier. In time,
I emerged as the “natural.” Not only did I get the basic black-and-white
answers, but I also began to see pictures and hear words. Daniel gave
up his pursuit of receiving messages when we began to concentrate
on my development and how to ask better questions. The quality of
answers depends on the quality of question. Over time, I began to
receive more and more detailed interpretations of the answers. This
helped to clarify a few of the concerns or interests we had, but I
couldn’t go deep enough to get to core emotional issues. I noticed
that if I had any issue or "charge" about the answer, it
would be very hard to receive the answer, or it would be skewed in
some way.
To develop
greater clarity of information, I attended a class on channeling given
by renowned Spiritualist trance medium Alexander Murray of New York
City. He pointed out that I had been "mental channeling,"
or relaying information from the guides. He urged me and the other
students to let spirit guides speak directly through us instead, and
become true mediums. So we learned how to connect with our "gatekeeper,"
or the one who oversees who and what comes through us. During a meditation
in class, I felt a light open a vertical channel in my head and a
resonant bright voice spoke through me. I could feel the vibration
of the voice speaking words inside my head. This was Irene, my first
gatekeeper.
Over
the new few months, I began to directly channel several personal spirit
helpers for Daniel and myself. One would speak, and then leave. My
head would drop and I’d nearly transition out of trance, but then
another one would come through. My head would lift up again, and back
in I would go. In a single session, as many as five or six would come
through in succession. Going in and out tired me, but the information
Daniel received was clearer and more precise. He felt their caring
and love energy more deeply. The material lost the "clutter"
of personal ego interference and needs.
In August,
1988, I had a session with trance channel Paul McClain, now known
as Mataare. In the beginning attunement portion of the reading, Paul
commented that there was someone who especially wanted to come through
and work with me. I was surprised, but pleased and thought it was
probably yet another friendly guide. However, as I was channeling
for Daniel a couple of weeks later, a new, more powerful presence
emerged. The voice of this spirit was deeper and more vibrant.
When Daniel
asked, "What is your name?" The entity said, “We are a group
and we do not have a name." So Daniel simply called them "the
Voice." After this, the Voice came through more often and began
attuning my energies each time. Sometimes I could feel their loving
presence very powerfully. The information appeared to be of higher
quality as my trance became deeper.
The Voice explained that they were blending with one another so that
I didn't have to go through all the "ins and outs" of entity
traffic. One of the group would be the spokesperson and hold the “microphone.”
At first, Daniel could hear a difference in the accents and speaking
styles as one spirit handed the next one the mike. Throughout this
phase, I still felt uncertain about whether all the information was
just made up by me! I was anxious. Was the information correct or
was it ego stuff? What if I shared this with people who took it seriously
and it was untrue or inapplicable? I would be responsible for them
and their outcomes. This worry interfered with the depth of my trance
and sometimes brought me right back up and out.
The Voice suggested that I would be less likely to come to surface
consciousness during the trance or fall into ego concerns if I were
more secure in the knowledge that what was coming through was "real."
So how did they convince me? They took on an accent that I simply
couldn't imitate, and this allowed me to relax and be unconcerned
about what was coming through. Consequently, as I got more out of
the way of the information, it became more useful and significant
in our lives.
By 1994,
the information being received had become so specific and transformational
that both of us were experiencing amazing and exciting leaps of personal
development. We determined that the material was so valuable; it would
be helpful for others, too. I experimented and channeled here and
there for friends. The enthusiastic feedback encouraged me.
On March
7th, 1994, we gathered some close friends to sit in a circle with
us in our living room while I channeled the Voice publicly for the
first time. I was self-conscious. To channel, I must sit exposed in
front of everybody while my conscious mind must let go and disappear.
What would my body do while I’m not aware of it? Would I simply embarrass
myself?
All ego
concerns evaporated during the evening. The Voice and my friends seemed
to enjoy speaking with each other. After a series of these circles,
I became more relaxed about the process. Although my original purpose
to channel was to broaden my and Daniel’s spiritual awareness, I wondered
if this could become my profession. At the time, I suffered from terrible
chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia.
I had already
closed my astrology practice, because readings had become too strenuous
(hard to imagine, but they were!).
I asked
myself: “Can I sit down, relax, and let the Voice talk?” The answer
was easy: “Yes, that I can do!" But I had seen the old spiritualist
mediums and other channels suffer obesity and tremendous physical
problems from doing channeling work. I concluded that I was only willing
to channel for others if my health were improved with every session.
The Voice agreed and included a healing in every session specifically
for me, too.
With a
new life choice finalized, I needed to practice if I were to do more
public work. We offered free channeling one day per week in our living
room. Word spread from friends who told friends, and soon there were
large crowds who filled every chair and space! We didn't even know
most of them, and weren’t sure that was what we wanted! The Voice
began each evening with a short talk and then answered questions from
the group.
Over the
following months, the quality of the information improved as my trance
deepened. The Voice explained themselves as a group that spoke as
One. Although they started out as a small core group of 12—which included
several of our favorite spirit guides from our Mataare sessions—the
Voice kept adding members, including several ascended Masters and
other indefinable trans-dimensional beings. I remained quite cognizant
of the fact that regardless of how high and amazing the guides were,
I was the bottleneck. It was my ability to get out of the way of the
transmissions that determined the quality of the information. With
practice during the weekly gatherings, and with a growing number of
private readings, I found the Voice’s capacity to answer questions
precisely grew by leaps and bounds. The information kept becoming
more profound.
Eventually
the Voice said it was time for a name, suggesting that they felt the
"Voice" to be too distant and kept people from feeling connected
closely to them. The Voice did not immediately reveal the new name
though, so we decided it would be fun to hold a "Name That Entity"
contest! Several people submitted names, and the winner would receive
a free private channeling. Before the contest was ended, the Voice
spoke to me one afternoon while I was doing some housework. "Galexis,"
they simply said.
We selected
the name that was our favorite anyway, and I gave a private channeling
for her. From that moment on, Galexis forged deeper connections with
those who came for consultations. Those who spoke with Galexis found
the relationship becoming warmer, closer, more personal, and real.
Over time,
Galexis added additional members. The One can now reach into the hundreds
when they are speaking with groups. Most of the members have had human
lifetimes. As of the last count, all come from within this Universe.
There are Ginger’s personal or private guides, and usually those who
are specific to the individuals who speak with Galexis. There are
those who are called Ascended Masters, angels, Extra Terrestrials,
spirits of Nature, and more.
Galexis
is quite private about who their members are. Perhaps this is to keep
Ginger from getting overwhelmed or too ego-involved. It could also
be to reduce the tendency clients have to form expectations about
the sub-entities. There are some Galexis members who are well-known
and frequent guests with other channels across the country! Galexis
refers to themselves as “us,” but those who speak with Galexis often
call them “she” because of my female voice. When asked if they are
predominantly masculine or feminine, Galexis cannot answer. This is
because on the other side (i.e. beyond the physical body), masculine
and feminine energies are either balanced, or gender is not relevant
to the information given.
I come
out of each trance feeling more alert and refreshed than when I entered
it. I no longer have a debilitating condition and my health continues
to improve with the help of Galexis. I have realized that channeling
is not my final mission, but is definitely a piece of it. My wish
is to expand my consciousness as much as possible in order to complete
my work here and return Home to God/Goddess/All That Is. Therefore,
my larger destiny work must be the work of my conscious self.
Meanwhile,
my relationship with Galexis, always loving, freeing and empowering
for me, is pivotal. Working with them is an important and precious
piece of my life journey, for which I am deeply grateful. I will continue
to channel Galexis until such time as they or I no longer wish to.
That is not going to happen anytime soon. I do not want to interfere
with the beautiful relationships that Galexis has developed with wonderful
people who are our clients, workshop attendees, and dear friends.
