This Thursday, at 9 pm CST, on BBS radio we are going to have some fun.  I’m whipping out my big red editor’s pen and will be “correcting” this article.  It should be very educational AND entertaining.  It will give you the valued BBS Radio listener an opportunity to see just how far the skeptics are willing to go, (sticking the foot in the mouth without even removing the heavy, dirty, smelly wool sock) to directly and indirectly slam investigators such as myself.
So, get comfy, cozy, with an icy Popsicle or cool snow cone, turn the fan on high and tune in.

Starting March 25, at 9 pm CST our trips to the otherside will investigate the afterlife beliefs of not only different religions, but those from a multitude of cultures.  Hollywood has hijacked and distorted society's vision of life after physical death, often times turning the adventure of travel to the otherside into a "Desperate Housewives" TV soap opera or frightening "Psycho" meets "Dawn of the Dead" film fest!  We need to change this perception.  This is the goal of this programming.
 
For centuries the afterlife has played a major role in every religion, spiritual philosophy and culture.  Afterlife contact is NOT a frightening experience.  Physical death will not leave us trapped in monstrous-like ghostly ethereal bodies.  Contact from our deceased relatives will not leave us fearing for our sanity.  Hollywood is WRONG!  Certain religions and scientific "theories" are WRONG!  We will not be miserable, alone, nor will our consciousness cease to exist when we leave this life behind.  Hell is a state of mind and the afterlife experience isn't a numb mental state, nor does it involve sitting on a cloud, playing a harp!  There is much more to the afterlife than science, the media or even religion is telling us!
 
Once we discover the afterlife is a reality, this in turn allows us to be in the "here and now" living a more spiritually enriched life.
 
Tune in every other Thursday night starting March 25rd.  We will begin every show by first reviewing the paranormal news of the week.  We will also take time to poke fun and see how our wacky media is trying to distort the truth of the day.  Next, we will explore different afterlife belief systems found within a particular culture or religion.  Finally, we will end the show with a "Spiritual Tip for the Day."  In exploring the different afterlife beliefs from around the world you will be given a "Spiritual Tip for the Day" which will assist you in enriching your own contact with the spirit world.
