Panteha Naghi was born into a Jewish family in Tehran Iran in 1979 after one year after the Revolution during which Islamic fundamentalists finally took over the country. She grew up there--during the war with Iraq (it seems like no matter where I go, I can't escape being at war with Iraq!)--and finished 2nd grade. Her family moved to the U.S. in 1988. She completed her studies at St. John's University in New York in Philosophy and English. In 2004 Panteha became a Raelian and has become spokeperson for them. Panteha has been highly involved with Iran's Political Freedom and more recently been an intregal activist here in the US for a FREE IRAN.

The Sphinx Mystery

Shrouded in mystery for centuries, the Sphinx of Giza has frustrated many who have attempted to discover its original purpose. Accounts exist of the Sphinx as an oracle, as a king’s burial chamber, and as a temple for initiation into the Hermetic Mysteries. Egyptologists have argued for decades about whether there are secret chambers underneath the Sphinx, why the head-to-body ratio is out of proportion, and whose face adorns it.

In The Sphinx Mystery, famed author Robert Temple with his wife Olivia address the many mysteries of the Sphinx. He presents eyewitness accounts, published over a period of 281 years, of people who saw the secret chambers and even went inside them before they were sealed in 1926--accounts that had been forgotten until the author rediscovered them. He also describes his own exploration of a tunnel at the rear of the Sphinx, perhaps used for obtaining sacred divinatory dreams.

Robert Temple reveals that the Sphinx was originally a monumental Anubis, the Egyptian jackal god, and that its face is that of a Middle Kingdom Pharaoh, Amenemhet II, which was a later re-carving. In addition, he provides photographic evidence of ancient sluice gate traces to demonstrate that, during the Old Kingdom, the Sphinx as Anubis sat surrounded by a moat filled with water--called Jackal Lake in the ancient Pyramid Texts--where religious ceremonies were held. He also provides evidence that the exact size and position of the Sphinx were geometrically determined in relation to the pyramids of Cheops and Chephren and that it was part of a pharaonic resurrection cult.

Susan Toney

He is a retired daily newspaper editor, who also was chief news writer for Middle East Television at its Jerusalem bureau and a past senior member of the editorial staff at The Jerusalem Post. He is mixed Chicamauga Cherokee and an elder among the Membreno Apache. In 2008, he was named “special messenger” for the Native American White Roots of Peace Council, an organization formed in the 1960s to promote the Twin Fires (Cherokee and Hopi prophecy) and the Great Law of the Iroquois.

Although not any religion, he has studied Torah and Halachah with several Jerusalem rabbonim including Rabbi David bar Chaim, Rabbi Chaim Richman and his mentor since 1991, the Breslov Hasid Rav Yisrael Tzvi Yehuda Schneider (the Rebbe Shani Dor of the Revived Jerusalem Sanhedrin) who gave him smichah as a maggid/mochiah in 2002.

The Rebbe Shani Dor and an anonymous “tzadik” whose name ben Yoseif says he must protect, commissioned him to “go find Rachel’s kids and mobilize a remnant of them to return” to their biblical inheritances (the head and crown region at right). He was also the first “Joe” admitted to study in an Orthodox Jewish yeshiva in Jerusalem since the exile of the House of Israel in the late 8th Century BCE.

A Massachusetts law school dean that lost money invested with swindler Bernard Madoff said that the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) was “willfully, horribly negligent” in failing to monitor his operation.

Lawrence Velvel, dean of the Massachusetts School of Law at Andover, said, “The SEC’s incredible willful negligence” to not seriously investigate Madoff’s operations despite repeated red flags and written warnings of his criminality probably makes the agency liable to legal action by aggrieved investors. The SEC, he said, “has no discretion—none—to fail to follow up, with serious investigations, when presented with knowledgeable, detailed, obviously highly competent, and in many respects easily ‘checkable’ allegations of...a huge fraud that is fooling thousands of people, stealing billions of dollars, and causing horrible injustice.”

Equally bad, says Velvel, the SEC was responsible for a lot of people being sucked into Madoff in the first place, because in 1992 it publicly announced that there was no fraud.

Referring to the preponderant majority of Madoff’s victims, Velvel said, “These are not the billionaires, or the huge institutions, that could hire expensive experts in due diligence…These are the plain people who worked hard and saved all their lives, as capitalism says they should, and who…depended on their government to protect them…but were failed by it because of one of the most willfully negligent, incompetent, and perhaps even complicitous courses of action any agency has ever engaged in.” BlogSpot Blog
