About Jean Hudon: He was born in Quebec City on the 19th of June 1952, and lived there up to 1979. After completing his education, he became a self-taught musician, playing electric bass in many bands, as well as composing songs and lyrics in a progressive rock band called Maelstrom which recorded an album and played at major venues. In 1979, after a 10 year musical career interspersed with various jobs, he moved to a rural community in the Saguenay area where he built a comfortable three-storied house, and learned organic gardening. He also took part in the creation of an intentional community called Les Plateaux Commun'o'Terre on their 540 acres communally-owned land, home today (2010) to 29 adults and 11 children living in 17 individually-owned homes. In 1981, he became a social activist when he joined a local environmental group which organized the first demonstration in Quebec against the scourge of acid rains. In 1982, he set up the Quebec branch of a program called Planetary Initiative for the World We Choose. Shelley Yates and her son, Evan, were drowned in 2002 when their car hydroplaned off the road, overturned, and sank to the bottom of a flooded marsh in Nova Scotia. Shelley was trapped in the car. A voice told her not to struggle or she would not be able to be revived when she would be rescued. She had never heard such a voice before this. She did not believe in God. She says of herself, "I was a 'diehard atheist'." Yet, she did not struggle, and she drowned. It was 15 minutes before she was rescued. After she was revived, she alerted the EMT's to find her son, who was age 4 at the time. Close to 30 minutes passed before he was pulled from the water. It took more time for the EMT's to get him breathing again. At the hospital, he was diagnosed as brain dead with non-viable organs, and given only 1% chance of surviving. However, Shelley was told by the voice that he would recover if many persons came and shared the energy of their auras for 20 minutes each. Lauren Artress

Lauren Artress is a Canon of Grace Cathedral in San Francisco and author of three books on the labyrinth. Her first book was instrumental in launching what is now known as The Labyrinth Movement. Margaret Starbird

Margaret Starbird holds BA and MA degrees from the University of Maryland where she concentrated in comparative literature, medieval studies and German language, studies she pursued on a Fulbright Student Grant at the Christian Albrechts Universitat in Kiel, Germany. She taught German language classes at the University of Maryland for four years and for one year at North Carolina State University. She later studied theology at Vanderbilt Divinity School in Nashville, TN. Andrew D. Basiago

The discoverer of life on Mars, Andrew D. Basiago, 47, is an American trial lawyer, writer, and environmental scholar. He was born on September 18, 1961 in Morristown, New Jersey, the youngest of five children, and grew up in New Jersey and California. Andy was one of the "whiz kids" who served from 1969 to 1972 in DARPA's time-space exploration program, Project Pegasus.

A past member of Mensa, the high IQ society, he holds five degrees, including a BA in History from UCLA and a Master of Philosophy from the University of Cambridge. While an undergraduate at UCLA, Andy became a journalist and a protégé of editor Norman Cousins of the Saturday Review, who once compared him to Robert Hutchins and nominated him to be the Editor of the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists. He was inspired by a meeting with architect Buckminster Fuller in 1981 to pursue a career in environmental policy. After their meeting, Fuller wrote: "Andrew Basiago's integrity augurs well for humanity's continuance in (the) Universe."

Andy was admitted to the Washington State Bar Association in 1996. A lawyer in private practice, he represents and collaborates with writers and filmmakers in the development of books, TV shows, and feature films with planetary and interplanetary themes. Recently, he edited several major works related to humanity's contact with extraterrestrial life. He was the editor of Alfred Lambremont Webre's book, Exopolitics: Politics, Government and Law in the Universe (Universe Books, 2005), which uses as a case study human contact with an advanced civilization on Mars. Responding to the numerous murders perpetrated by puppet tribal governments and the extreme conditions of oppression, the takeover at Wounded Knee revisited the sight of the American Indian massacre at the hands of U.S. soldiers in 1890. Ever vigilant for his cause, Russell has been lauded by the international community for his tireless efforts.

Russell splits his time between San Jose, NM, his ranch on the Pine Ridge Sioux Indian reservation, Porcupine, SD and his office in Santa Monica, CA. He takes pride in having instituted programs for the betterment of his people: notable, the Porcupine Health Clinic (the only non government funded clinic in Indian Country) and KILI radio, the first Indian owned radio station.
