- Received a Bachelor of Architecture at University of Hawaii School of Architecture in 1991
- Is a Licensed Architect in North Carolina since 1997
- Taught home design classes and Feng Shui classes to local businesses & governmental organizations since 2000
- Received Feng Shui Certification from the Feng Shui Institute of America in 2003
- Produces and hosts "The Emy Louie Show" Internet Radio Show on Green and Sustainable Architecture, Healthy Living and Feng Shui. Broadcasted live 73 one-hour shows since 2006
