The Golden Compass, an expensive box office bomb movie directed by Chris Weitz, based on the first volume of a trilogy, His Dark Materials, by author Philip Pullman, has had controversial religious content cut to make the film commercially viable according to an Associated Press article, by Eric Gorski, Living Section of the El Paso Times, Friday, December 7, 2007 edition.
The article states that Pullman has said, “I’m trying to undermine the basis of Christian belief.”
As I have posted the judgment of Jehovih against Christianity (Book of Judgment, Oahspe, the Kosmon era bible) I would probably pay to see the movie after reading the book.
A library assistant has read volume one and said the story is interesting. One of my co-workers has characterized The Golden Compass as an anti-religious movie even though not having seen the film.
Because Jehovih, the I Am, has judged against both christianity and christian warrior adherents there is no defense for it or them.
However, there will most likely be another incarnation (on some planet somewhere in the creation), so there is the possibility that in time to come these deceived warriors who have been turned away from Jehovih will make peace with their Creator and choose to worship Him rather than someone born of a woman.
The Father of all created alive desires that not even one person would turn away from Him and serve self (Satan). There is just the one everlasting enemy of the I Am. He was once alive, but is now dead and is named for us in Oahspe as being Anra’mainyus. Worlds without end
