FALLING INTO LOVE
AND SO.
This fall afternoon
As I gazed at the golden leaves
On the tree outside my window
I re-membered
Watching only “one”
Falling off the tree
The wind came along and
This golden leaf of God
Gently fell
Down, down
With no resistance
It just kept falling
Knowing it would land
Safely
I watched as this one
Was soooo full of trust
Trusting the ONE that birthed it
That it was only going home
To take on a new form
And grace us with its presence
Another day
Today I realized that
All of the leaves have turned
They are all crispy, golden
And ready for the sojourn
Their sojourn home
Into the oneness that
Birthed them
They have no fear
They are ready for the ride
And so, if we all could for
One moment in time
See the grace and beauty
Of these leaves
They are so full of trust
So full of knowing
That they will come back in a
New form
With a new message
With a new gift
For the next One
Who has the gift
Of laying their eyes
Upon their presence
Surrender into love
