In Amoretto

In the span of less a second then I knew
My passion seeks its mate ordained anon
By eye or ear or no it was foretold
My heart ignites amor that is agog.

We as friends, no more can be as friends
As candent as the fervor is we’ve born
Like bees to honey bound by Nature’s call
We must abide, entwine, as two we’re torn.

So grief, lust, fear and joy let ardor be
In Amoretto shall we come to start anew
And there I’ll be the servant of your dreams
Arise Eros, for love, and Venus too.
