Poet info
My writing stems from my life experiences and a profound gift from the heavens. I believe I am merely an instrument used by the divine. On this earthly plane, I have a BS in education and an AA in Social Services. I am a Reiki Master and a counselor. As a soul, as one among many, I have followed a path of self -evolvement and clearing of trauma and pain. I have had many teachers from all professions, and walks of life. I have conquered both serious emotional and physical illness. In reflection, I see now and have known for many years that this walk, is a walk toward wisdom and inner strength that cannot be shattered by the illusions of this earth plane. I have a trust in spirit and God that is unwavering.
My writing has been well received and honored through out my life. I am amember of the National Poetry Society and the Arizona State Poetry Society. I love meeting with other poets to share the creative, the thoughts to words. Most previous submissions were to greeting card companies. In 1994 my writing was contracted for two years by Blue Mountain Arts, after our contract expired I self-published, Eagle Spirit Products, when words mean everything, My company began with hand made cards in 1996 and went to print in 1998 with four designs, by August 2000 I increased the line to 24 designs.
Recycled Paper Greetings, the third largest greeting card company in the US began publishing my poetry and designs in March of 2001. It was my dream, but the majority of the earth plane, the worldly plane was not quite ready for my writing. They wanted light fun and laugter which is not a bad thing. To look deeply is to feel, they were not ready to feel and many still are not. Words are powerful. My words open the heart. I continue to write in the hopes that I can help just one soul move from the gray to the light and so the world will be the richer for this.
