JOHN CAMPBELL
Personal
Coach, Author and Public Speaker
John
Campbell has recovered from a life of corporate ‘high
flying’ and addictions to alcohol and drugs to realise
the innocence within him and all humanity. A visionary,
writer, and inspirational speaker on ‘conscious living’
whose passion now is to assist in transforming the way people
perceive themselves, others and the world in general.
John
supports individuals and groups in live workshops and teleclasses
in understanding that they are the co-creators of their
lives and experiences and helps them become free of victim
consciousness by his commitment to the principles in the
teachings of ‘A Course in Miracles’ of which
he is an avid student.
He
built up a multi million dollar oil and shipping business
and was formerly a sea captain in the Merchant Navy where
he obtained his first ‘command’ as Captain at
the age of 26 years and owned his first ship at the age
of 37. His slide down the slippery slope of addiction led
him into a corrupt business involving smuggling oil from
Africa and whisky into Saudi Arabia. In 1997 he hit rock
bottom and admitted himself into a treatment facility for
addictive disorders where he experienced a profound spiritual
awakening. This led him on a 10 year search for Truth and
during this time he experienced many incredible teachings
and trainings until he found ‘A Course in Miracles’
which is the path he has decided works best for him.
He qualified as an NLP practitioner, hypnotherapist and Angel Therapy Practitioner© trained by Dr Doreen Virtue PhD author of numerous books on Angels. He is a former Vice Chairman of Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club and maintains his interest in the sport. He travels the world practicing the principles of A Course In Miracles as best he can and stays grounded in the understanding that he is a continual student of this work and thus a teacher of its principles. His first book, ‘Addicts and Angels -A Smugglers Voyage to Enlightenment’ which tells the fascinating story of his life path is due to be published in December 2009.
